SMIDGE THE LAP DOG

Smidge is a soft, cuddly, high quality toy with a cheeky and endearing smile. He is the official mascot of the programme and has been designed exclusively for the LAP Association by Tony Barber of North Paw Design.

Two brightly coloured posters are now available.

Thirsty for Learning and Hungry for Challenge

These brightly coloured posters featuring Smidge the LAP Dog make a wonderful addition to any classroom, LAP room or library.

LAP BALLOONS –

In a pack of 10 for either air or helium, these brightly coloured balloons featuring the LAP logo are a must for any special event.

BOOKMARKS

  • ELROY – YOUR LAP PAL has an infectious smile. As a bookmark, Elroy is a must to support young readers. He also stands on a desk or table.
  • LONG LIVE LAP
    Written by Max Fatchen to celebrate 25 years of LAP in education, this bookmark makes an ideal gift for volunteers.

LAP ASSOCIATION SATCHEL

This useful satchel is made in a strong, navy blue fabric and features the words “The LAP Association” and LAP Logo printed in white. A perfect gift for volunteers to keep all of their materials.

LAP STARTER PACK - NEW!

This pack is a must for all schools beginning their LAP programme. It contains all of the resources necessary to establish your programme. Smidge the LAP Dog and Membership of the Association are NOT contained in the pack and may be purchased separately.

LAP VOLUNTEERS CARE BADGES

These specially designed enamelled badges are ideal gifts. They can be presented to volunteers as they begin the programme or as a gift at the end of the year.

Volunteers are encouraged to wear their badges when they come to the school to be with their student. The badges help staff to recognise the volunteers are part of the LAP team and the school community.

LAP STICKERS
